Being vs Becoming

Whenever I talk about unconditional love to others, I notice a resistance to accepting it as a choice. There is a universal belief that there must be a slow process for human beings to adapt and prepare for the eventuality of becoming what they already know to be a universal truth.

The only thing holding us back from the experience of Being is our belief that we’re not who we are, so we fool ourselves into believing that we need to become who we actually are, when in actuality we just are who we are and our belief that we’re not, keeps us from the experience of Being and living in the “I Am”. All we have to do is remember.

When I believed there was such a thing as Becoming and that there was a process for it and I was in that process of becoming, I wasn’t truly living in the “I Am, I was “acting as if”. Faced with the choice of living in my true state of I Am,  or “acting as if”, why would I not choose the real thing?

Becoming, is a thought process that emanates from an outside force. “I Am” is a state of Being Self, being present here and now, my true authentic Self that doesn’t allow thinking to get in my way of Being. I Am, just is and I, just Am.

Just thinking about becoming prevents me from actualizing my true Being, my authentic Self that’s at the core of my Being, which is pure unadulterated, unconditional love.  When I’m choosing to Be, I’m choosing to love and there’s nothing for me to become, I already Am.

Choosing to Be, keeps me present every moment I continue to choose to Be. So if I even think about becoming, it’s impossible for me to Be. Just knowing that when I choose to Be, I Am. It’s the concept of becoming that becomes an oxymoron.

I believe that all the so called gooroo’s who talk about Becoming, aren’t really experiencing the art of Being or they’re using language in a way that removes Choice from the equation. If they really knew the secret of choosing unconditional Love every moment of every day, they’d be living in the experience of  “I Am Unconditional Love, therefore I Am”,  then they’d know it’s impossible to become that which they already are.

Once I discovered this poignant piece of information, I stopped thinking about Becoming and concentrated on Choosing to Be present, to Be in the moment, to Be my actualized Self and to Be pure authentic unconditional Love with no reason or excuses. And I continue to choose Love as a state of Being, every minute of every day, no matter what circumstances or situations are going on around me in the physical Universe.  And even when I slip back into behavior associated with my human condition I’m committed to recover in nano seconds or as close to that as possible.

“I Am therefore I Am.
